Wholesale cashew nut prices in Vietnam have dropped to their lowest this year despite rising export demand. Wholesale Cashew kernel prices decreased gradually throughout 2023, falling to USD 3.78/kg in the third week of August. Vietnam's exports show signs of a slow demand recovery, increasing 12% YoY in the first seven months of 2023, but the worldwide excess of cashews, especially from the major producer Western Africa, keeps prices low.
