Indicative prices of chicken in Bulgaria stood at EUR 2.09/kg in the week that started in January 16, 2023, falling only by a slight 0.5% MoM but touching their lowest level since March 2022. The decline likely comes on the back of slower demand after the winter holidays and also on strong domestic production. However, year-over-year, prices are up 27%, underlining inflation for this product hasn't eased.
