India's cashew nut exports in crisis due to falling demand

2017 was the last year for India to reach its best export record of more than 700M USD since the supply that exceeds demand to some extent collectively causes a decline in import value and the Covid outbreak that also hit the country causing import values continued to decline. Most of the top 10 importers are currently reducing their imports massively, such as the UAE, the Netherlands, and Japan. The Netherlands actually expanded its cashew nut re-exports, especially to Germany. While German exports to other European market also grew rapidly in 2020.
