Intense Strawberry Imports in Poland Pushes Wholesale Prices Down by 27% WoW

The wholesale price of strawberries in Poland had taken a substantial downward trend on Week 24, when it stood at USD 1.45/kg for a 27% WoW reduction. It has been reported that large volumes of industrial garden strawberries from Ukraine are flooding the Polish market. Simultaneously, the delay of the Spanish strawberry season has supported the price collapse in Poland as it arrived later in the year.
