The wholesale price of cardamom in India down to USD 11.24 per kg in W4 December 2021 from USD 31.32 per kg, dropped by -64.1% YoY. Due to favorable weather, Indian cardamom production worked at full capacity in 2021. Sufficient supply led the price to decrease in W4 December 2021. For that reason, India took the opportunity increased export cardamom in the global market surpassed USD 156M in the first ten months of 2021, an increase of 90% compared to the same period in 2020.
