The wholesale price of cashew nuts in Vietnam edged up to 3.51 USD/KG in W4 December 2021. As exports in 2021 increased to 3.34B USD in the first 11 months of 2021, Vietnam continues to maintain its position as the largest cashew exporter in the world. Meanwhile, increasing global demand for cashew nuts and the recovery in average cashew nut export prices are likely to help Vietnam increase its exports in 2022.
