The wholesale price of macadamia in Vietnam decreased slightly by -4.84% YoY to 7.83 USD/KG in W2 December 2021. High domestic demand made the import value of Vietnam macadamia rise while its exports declined last year. The demand for macadamia that continues to grow in the future makes the Vietnamese government focus on developing sustainable macadamia production which will result in large production, not only to meet domestic demand but also to increase exports.
