The Peruvian mango wholesale price index decreased to 81.8 in W2 of November 2021, in contrast to the Brazilian and Vietnamese mango wholesale price index which increased slightly to 65.02 and 115.79 during the same period. For next year, the increasing volume of mango production in Peru that exceeds demand, is likely to lower the price index. Meanwhile, the decline in production volumes in Brazil at the end of the harvest season and the recovery of Vietnam's exports aligned with high demand may increase the price index.
