In Brazil, the Tommy Atkins variety is currently priced at USD 0.47 per kg, an increase of +9.45% YoY. Since mid-September, demand for Brazilian mangoes has been steadily increasing. However, due to heavy rains, production have been reduced causing the prices of Brazilian mangoes to be slightly higher than last year not to mention that Brazil will also have to face higher transportation costs throughout 2021.
