In Turkiye, the wholesale price of fresh watermelon-Crimson Sweet variety has fallen 42.37% WoW to USD 0.34 and 62.22% MoM from USD 0.9/kg in W2 of May 2023. The harvest began in Adana, and at the same time, the value of the Turkish lira against the US dollar has fallen by 14% since the start of the month. Price movement expectations are mixed at the moment.
