Pakistani Rapeseed Prices Drops due to Record Indian Crop, but Rebounds after Indonesian Palm Oil Export Ban

Rapeseed prices in Pakistan returned to USD0.81/kg after a sharp drop at the end of March. Prices tumbled as news of a record Indian rapeseed crop became apparent. However, the lower price was short-lived as Indonesia announced a ban on palm oil exports only a couple of weeks later. Thes sent prices right back to the same levels seen throughout the first months of 2022.
