The price of fresh strawberries in Spain went high by 13.92 USD per KG in mid-October 2021 from 10.58 USD per KG in the previous year and has increased by +31.59% YoY. The price had drastically dropped by - 17.3% WoW on August 30th, 2021. Spanish fresh strawberry rebounded +36% to 11.87 USD per KG WoW in early September and continuously remained high on mid -October. Cold weather caused strawberry production to be delayed. Facing tight supplies, importers were forced to import Spanish fresh strawberries and made prices high.
