Australian Almond Prices Continue Bullish Run Early in 2023

Early in 2023, wholesale almond prices in Australia extended their bullish run which started in September. Almond prices globally appeared to have bottomed out in September and trended higher leading up to 2023. In most key producing countries, prices took a breather in January, giving up some of the earlier gains, whereas in Australia the bullish trend continued. Due to political and economic tensions between China and the US, China is favoring Australian almonds, supporting prices.
