Chile excels in wholesale Hass avocado prices rose more than 100% within a year. The price of Hass avocado (first quality) in the Chilean market has jumped from 3.95 USD per KG to 8.50 USD per KG in 2021, an increase of +115.45% compared to last year. Meanwhile, the price increase was also seen for Hass avocado (second quality), which increased by +102.14%. The market shows a fluctuation that lasts from August to the first quarter of 2021. Chile mostly exports avocado to European countries, namely the Netherlands with a total value of 131.14M USD in 2020.
