The wholesale price of mango in the Brazilian market fell -30.03%, indicating a price difference of 0.22 USD YoY. Although mango prices had soared to its highest level in mid-May, the price fell quickly before entering May. The value continues to shrink as they enter the third quarter of 2021. Mangoes on the Brazilian market are now worth 0.50 USD per KG in W1 August 2021. The highest export was recorded in 2020 with a value of around 400M USD. This leads Brazil as the fourth largest exporter of guava, mango and mangosteen in 2020. However, the competitive availability of mangoes in other countries may cause overlaps that can affect market prices.
