Price of Hass avocadoes are remaining high in both the domestic and import markets compared to last year. In Peru, the value gradually increase to 1.11 USD per KG in the fourth week of January 2021. YoY price change recorded an increase of around +37.19%. While in the US market managed to rise +4.39% within a year. The value is higher at 58 USD per Cartons 2 layer which was only 47 USD per Cartons 2 layer in the same period. Moreover, prices in the original producer, Mexico, continued to rise in March and increased further around May 2021. However, prices are still volatile and tend to fall until June 2021.
