Estimated UHT Milk Export Volume in South Africa Lower in 2022 but Price Is Higher

The estimated mass of export of UHT (ultra high temperature) milk from South Africa in 2022, is 10.3% lower than in 2021 while the average export price in 2022, is 7.9% higher than in 2021 and 15.3% higher than in 2020. The estimates on export quantities were calculated on the assumption that the levels of the exports in the first six months of 2022, will be maintained for the rest of the year.
