Chile's dairy exports in January reached a total value of USD 17.3 million, which represents a drop of 32.1%, which is equivalent to USD 8.2 million, compared to the same month in 2022, according to data from the Bulletin for the Advancement of Foreign Trade in Dairy Products, prepared by the Secretariat for Agrarian Studies and Policies -Odepa-, and reproduced by the National Federation of Milk Producers (Fedeleche). In volume, Chilean dairy exports closed the first month of the year with a drop of 32.5%, totaling 6,079 tons, 2,938 tons less than in the same month of 2022. Meanwhile, the average price of dairy exports closed January at US$ 2,858 tons, practically stable compared to 2022.
