Dynamics of milk inflation in Ukraine and Poland in April

Wholesale prices of the fresh category in April also continued to show a slowdown in growth rates, +6.3% compared to the corresponding month last year (in March +8.3% y/y). Therefore, the Infagro raw milk price index in the reporting month is 16.9 percentage points higher than in April last year (+20.6% points based on the results of March y/y). In the coming months, we are waiting for the return of the index to the average annual framework (+5+9% y/y), similar to the dynamics of the cost of finished products. Overall consumer inflation in Poland in April was expected to decrease due to the high base of last year and amounted to +14.7% by April last year (+16.1% based on the results of March y/y).
