According to Maksym Hopka, an analyst at UKAB, Ukrainian exporters of the dairy sector have almost adapted to the current working conditions and continue to increase trade abroad due to the surplus of products on the domestic market. "Comparing the export of dairy products in the 3rd quarter of 2022, the total export volume for July, August, and September amounted to 35.14 thousand tons, which is 76% more than in the same period last year. So far, this is the most productive period of trade in the current year, in particular, the value of trade for the 3rd quarter was 92.4 million USD, which is twice as much as in 2021," the expert notes. In September, a gradual slowdown in the export of milk and dairy products is observed, but the volumes remain at a sufficient level.
