The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food supports with more than 14 million euros 29 innovative projects of general interest that are developed in Castilla y León in the fields of agriculture, livestock, the forestry sector and the agri-food industry. These are projects promoted by supraautonomous operational groups of the European Association for Innovation in terms of agricultural productivity and sustainability (AEI-Agri). These aids are part of measure 16.2 of the National Rural Development Program (PNDR) 2014-2022. As explained by the delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, the 29 innovative supra-autonomous projects of the AEI-Agri linked to Castilla y León now in execution correspond to the beneficiaries of the last two calls (2020 and 2022).
