El Primer Representante Permanente Adjunto de la Federación de Rusia no ve motivos para ser optimista sobre la reanudación del acuerdo sobre cereales

El Primer Representante Permanente Adjunto de la Federación de Rusia ante la ONU, Dmitry Polyansky, no ve ningún elemento que permita hacer una previsión optimista sobre la reanudación del acuerdo sobre cereales. Así lo afirmó en una entrevista con el periódico Izvestia.
“It (the grain deal - TASS note) consisted of two parts - the Black Sea initiative concerning Ukrainian grain, and a three-year memorandum between the Russian Federation and the UN on the export of Russian fertilizers and products to world markets. We are not putting forward new demands, we just want to achieve the fulfillment of what what was promised to us. <…> So far I don’t see any moments that would make me optimistic about the resumption of the grain deal in one form or another,” he said, answering a question about the likelihood of Western countries fulfilling Russian demands stated in the memorandum. “As far as I know, the UN has not proposed any new formats.
