The price of sheep's milk rises almost by 19% while production falls by 2% during September 2022 in Spain

PRICES The standard price of sheep's milk in Spain, during the month of September 2022, has stood at 1,272 euros per liter, which represents a drop of 18.9% over the amount of the same period of the previous campaign when it was 1,069 euros. The data for both Castilla y León and Castilla La Mancha also remain on the rise but at different levels. In the case of the former, there is an increase of 16% from 1,033 euros to 1,199 while Castilian-Manchego farmers have seen how in the last year the amount paid by the industries has grown by 24.1% from 1,146 euros at €1,423. As regards the value per hectograde that is paid to farmers for every 100 liters delivered by virtue of the quality of the milk, in Spain as a whole, it grew by 18.9%, increasing, in the last 365 days, from €8.73 to €10.38.
