Kimona Limited have their own modern packaging and warehouse facility where they store products after sorting and cleaning. The sesame seeds are packed in PP bags or according to the buyer's request and stored on pallets in the warehouse with cross ventilation. The warehouse has humidity and moisture controlled environment and fumigated on a regular basis. Each consignment preparation time is around 4 weeks after order confirmation. Preferred mode of transport is by sea via Port of Lagos, Nigeria.

Kimona Limited company works with locally and internationally certified farmers that produce according to all necessary standards. It is ensured that the moisture content in the sesame seeds is appropriate, there are no infected or damaged seeds and the seeds have a high purity level and free from any foreign material. Quality inspection starts at the farm and is monitored all the way to the container loading. The products also undergo a rigorous quality control process to ensure our consumers get only healthy and creamy sesame seeds. The company is Licensed to export by Nigerian export promotion council and is Incorporated in Nigeria by the corporate affairs commission of Nigeria.

The cultivation area for ginger is located in Nigeria. Nigeria is the second-largest producer of sesame seeds in Africa and 7th in the world. The sesame plant is a versatile crop that thrives quite well in the Northern part of Nigeria due to its drought-resistant ability. Nigerian Sesame Seed harvest period is spread from August and continues till November depending on the rain and sowing each year. Sesame seeds take 4 to 5 months to reach maturity. The seeds are harvested when 50% of its capsules turn yellow. The harvesting is done manually in Nigeria, using a sickle to cut the stem. Kimona Limited enters into partnerships with farmers who process the amount of product required. These include smallholder farmers, helping them with input and other farming requirements. The sesame seeds are cleaned and sun-dried after harvesting and are then packed and stored.

Sesame seeds are tiny, oil-rich seeds that grow in pods on the Sesamum Indicum plant. The seeds have many potential health benefits and have been used in folk medicine for thousands of years. They may protect against heart disease, diabetes and arthritis. Some studies suggest that regularly eating sesame seeds may help decrease high cholesterol and triglycerides — which are risk factors for heart disease. Sesame seeds are a good source of certain B vitamins, which are distributed both in the hull and seed.
Kimona Limited offers Sesame seed of Nigerian origin. The white sesame seeds are raw, whole and dried. They are conventionally produced seeds with a shelf life of 6 to 8 months at room temperature. Sesame seeds are a good source of energy. They contain healthy fats like polyunsaturated fatty acids and Omega-6.
