Avocado oil is produced by first removing the skin and the seed of the fruit. Once the skin and the seed is removed, the avocado is then ground to paste and malaxed for around an hour at 50 degrees Celsius. While the temperature used for avocado oil is higher than other edible oils such as olive oil, the process is still referred to as cold-pressed extraction. All our avocado oil from Mexico is made from Hass avocados to ensure the richness of the taste.
