The annual production of dates in Pakistan is estimated to be between 550,000 to 650,000 metric tons. Sindh alone contributes more than 55% of the total dates production in Pakistan Each date palm carries a weight of about 80-90 kilograms on average. Khairpur City is famous for its date trees which is why dates are also known as the city’s specialty.
