In Mar-24, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports surged to approximately USD 433 million, marking a significant 33% month-on-month (MoM) increase. For Q1-24, the total export turnover of fruits and vegetables reached nearly USD 1.3 billion. Key contributors to this export growth include durian, dragon fruit, and lychee. China remains the largest market for Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports, with import volumes growing by one and a half times compared to the same period in 2023. Additionally, Thailand and Germany recorded remarkable increases in imports, surpassing 120% year-on-year (YoY) growth.
