Fresh lettuce from Taiwan has the best quality, especially from November to April, and it's majorly exported to South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan. It's grown in the region of Yulin, where the weather is the best for growing lettuce. Japan takes up more than 60% of the total export volume, while South Korea takes up 35%. The demand from Japan has been decreasing year over year with strong supply from Japan domestically. However, Taiwan is seeing strong demand from South Korea with over 200% of the year growth. Tridge has formed a partnership with the suppliers who produce the best-quality lettuce and own packhouse. They are also certified by Global Gap and supply fresh lettuce to one of the most famous fast-food franchises in the world.
