Product Description
Mandarin is one of the main citrus products of Egypt, the season starts by the end November until February. Egypt exported around 133,460 tons of mandarin in the season 2020/2021 making it the second largest citrus product exported from Egypt after orange.
Egypt has different varieties of mandarin like Fremont, W Murcott, Honey Murcott, Merav and Tango. Egyptian mandarins are famous for their good quality and high sugar and juice content. Mandarin's outer skin is pebbly, it's peel thin and loose, easy to separate. Egyptian mandarins are great eaten plain but are also great in salad and dessert.
