With the tropical climate and fertile land for optimal conditions for coconut production, Indonesia consumes and exports the highest volume of coconut per year (18M tonnes) and holds the largest production market share (32%). Coconuts are a vital part of Indonesia’s economy, and it is versatile fruit with high commercial value. Tridge has established a strategic and exclusive partnership with Indonesia’s mature coconut supplier to provide premium standard coconuts at the most competitive prices.
Tridge's mature coconuts can be supplied in fully or semi-husked forms. Mature coconuts are specifically valued for their thick, firm meat. It is often processed into a shredded or grated form or used in coconut milk preparation. However, the meat can simply be eaten raw and is also added into dishes like curries, soup, as well a wide variety of desserts and pastries.
Mainly grown in approximately 10 to 20 hectares-sized plantations in the Riau and Jambi provinces of Sumatra and the Palu and Manado provinces of Sulawesi, Tridge’s mature coconuts are planted throughout the year to ensure that the products are available all season round. Most of the warehouses are located in Jakarta or Surabaya, where the two biggest shipping ports are located. With a phytosanitary certificate and a certificate of analysis, our facilities adhere to the highest standards to provide buyers with the very best mature coconuts.
