Product Description

India accounts for nearly 6% of the global fish production and is the largest producer of shrimps. It is the largest exporter of frozen prawns to the US. Seafood exports from the country has demonstrated an exponential growth over the years. Marine products are currently exported from India to more than 100 countries. The country has vast resources in the form of coastline and pristine quality waters with abundant fishery resources to promote culture as well as capture fisheries for safe and sustainable fishery production. The marine products export is targeted to reach Rs. 1 lakh crore by 2025.

Indian shrimp especially enjoys very good demand in all major overseas markets. Despite prevailing anti-dumping duties on frozen shrimp, India remains the largest supplier of the item to the US market. It has managed to achieve this by becoming one of the largest global producers of farmed shrimp. The established capacity of hatcheries, feed mills, and processing plants will support future expansion.
Tridge's supplier is focusing on the increasing trend toward healthy lifestyles means that customers expect to be able to track items through the supply chain in order to gain confidence and trust that they are healthy, safe, and being -delivered in an environmentally friendly manner.
