BODEGAS LUNA BEBERIDE

-Established in 1987, Thirty years after Bernardo Luna began producing wine, the second generation of the Luna Beberide family, led by Alejandro Luna, intend to continue this focus on simplicity and quality and to search for excellence on the basis of caring for and respecting the vines in exactly the way shown by Mariano García in 1998, who was a wine expert at Vega Sicilia for many years and promoter of Bodegas Mauro. Together, they created the first signature red wines by Luna Beberide.
-Finca Valdetruchas enjoys a mild microclimate with extraordinary luminosity and has 50 hectares of its own vineyard located between 500 and 900 meters above sea level in Villafranca del Bierzo. With a clay-calcareous soil in the lower area and slate in the upper areas, short prunings, green, a thinning before harvest and yields of 25 to 30 hectoliters per hectare, it is possible to extract the best of Mencía, the queen grape of this denomination of origin.
