Bodegas y Viñedos Peral

-Winery was established in 1882 by the Cuéllar family due to the demand for wine from the city of Madrid. In 1953 it passed into the hands of the Peral family who, in order to make quality wine, resorted to ancestral winemaking traditions and innovated its cultivation and production by applying techniques such as "sobremadre" (ancient custom of fermenting wine with a part of the skins).
-This winery was one of the first in Madrid to launch Limited Harvest wines, its first bottled products began in the seventies.
-The winery produces an average annual production of 95,000 bottles of quality wines, among which are sobremadre, crianza, young and sparkling wines. The grapes come from the vineyards of the Madrid appellation of origin of their tempranillos, malvar, cabernet arriving at the winery at their optimum point of maturation to make wines.
-The production area of the designation of origin is divided into four very different sub-areas: San Martín de Valdeiglesias, Navalcarnero, El Molar and Arganda, which is where Colmenar de Oreja wines are located.
-Varieties: malvar, tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon.
