Château Haut-Brion

- Established in 1525, a wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
- Produces red and white wines.
- Cultivates 51 ha of vineyard planted with vines averaging 35 years of age.
- 48.35 ha of the vineyard arranged with the red grape varieties of Merlot (45.4%), Cabernet Sauvignon (43.9%), Cabernet Franc (9.7%) and Petit Verdot (1%).
- 2.87 ha of the vineyard planted with the white varieties of Sémillon (52.6%) and Sauvignon Blanc (47.4%).
- Carries out manual harvest; Vinification takes place in oak barrels; Wine aged in oak barrels (25-30% new) for 18 months (red wine) or 10–12 months (white wine).
- Annual production capacity of 900 to 1,080 hL (10,000 to 12,000 cases) for red wine, 59 to 76 hL (650 to 850 cases) for white wine.
