Young Tanzanian farmers founded Communal Shamba Coffee to promote the exportation of green coffee grown by smallholder farmers in Tanzania's Southern Highlands. In order to harvest and prepare unique green beans for export to our extensive network of roasters and buyers, we are farmers who collaborate with other farmers. Community-owned Shamba coffee fosters long-lasting social change that goes beyond fair pricing and direct trade. The community of Tanzanian coffee farmers is our first concern as we work to make a lasting effect.
