Originally from Iraq, the name means “a hot summer wind of Basrah.” Barhi dates are oval in shape, and are eaten at all three stages of ripeness. Affectionately known as the honey date, this soft juicy date often drips with super saturated syrup. The Fresh Barhi is crisp and full of juice. The Rutab Barhi is soft with Honey tasting syrup and is prized by the Date connoisseur.

Originally from Saudi Arabia, Khalas means “quintessence, or the ideal.” Khalas Dates are oblong in shape and are eaten at all three stages of ripeness. Khalas is a very popular everyday eating Date found throughout the Middle East and North Africa with a toffee like flavour. The Desert Fruit Khalas is specifically sweet from late season ripeness and high heat of the granite soils. Great Treacle flavour the date is very soft and prized as a Rutab date.

Originally from Saudi Arabia, Zamli dates are oval in shape, and are eaten at all three stages of ripeness. Known as “Natures Caramel” which is intensified by the dry hot conditions and of the valley slopes where the Zamli Trees thrive. The thick trees push all the sweetness available into the red amber Date to produce an extraordinary flavour that becomes a favourite after the first bite.

Natural dried Date, soft and chewy in texture concentrated sugar, and nutty flavour.
