DRASUS

In Uganda, eggplant, is a popular and versatile vegetable. It's a fruit belonging to the Solanaceae family, which includes tomatoes, peppers, and potatoes. The plant can grow up to 2 meters tall, with leaves that are alternately arranged and have smooth or lobed margins. The fruits vary in shape and colour, ranging from round or spindle-shaped to red, orange, or even white. They are eaten both raw and cooked and are a significant part of the diet in many African communities.
