Fair Trade Enterprises Ltd

Fair Trade Enterprises is a Kenyan licensed fresh produce exporter specializing in exporting avocados and passion fruits. It employs fair trade principles in trading endeavors and promotes sustainable development in rural areas through Fair Trade farming and procurement of fresh horticultural produce from small-scale farmers. It adheres to both local and international standards such as Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in production and executes in a state-of-the-art packhouse with high hygiene standards.

Fair Trade Enterprises ships to both small importers and bulky buyers buying large quantities of fresh produce. About 90% of its exports are by air as the product is highly perishable. The export targets are approximately 1035 MT/year of fresh produce. The shipping is executed by an appointed logistics company that has good working relationships with the airlines and cargo companies. Depending on the needs of clients, the company offers both FOB (Free on Board) and CIF (Cost, Freight and Insurance).
