Farm Open Joint Stock Company "Ovoschevod"

In 1971 the first 16,000 square meters were put into operation. In 1972 an additional 36,900 square meters operation has started. The first product was purchased in the same year. On the basis of the greenhouse complex under construction, by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of January 14, 1972 RSFSR No. 28, the vegetable farm "Vegetable Farmer" was organized. All greenhouses were commissioned in 1973. Vegetables were grown on a 10.6-hectare site using the latest hydroponics method at the time. 4-4.5 thousand tons of three types of vegetables were produced: cucumbers, tomatoes and green onions.

In 1984, the second phase of the factory, covering an area of ​​12 hectares, was commissioned. The total area including the poly greenhouse is 27 hectares. The annual production of vegetables has reached 7,000 tons. From 1999 to 2002 he began the transition to new technology. Substrate use on a small-scale using drip irrigation. Two hectares of greenhouses have been converted to this technology. In December 1992, the state farm "Vegetable Farmer" was transformed into an open joint-stock company.
