Gemstone Vineyard

Our Alluvial Selection Estate Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the structure and superior terroir of our vineyard. The upper blocks of the vineyard sit on volcanic deposits from the neighboring Vaca Mountains. These deposits form an alluvial fan, a unique geological feature that gives us well-draining, rocky soils and low yields of small, extraordinarily flavorful berries.

The 2019 Alluvial Selection is powerful and voluptuous, with notes of cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate and tobacco. Full-bodied, the palate delivers fine-grained, silky tannins with a vibrant finish. This expressive wine will age beautifully for 20+ years.
