After being diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure, Kojo Nunoo (Managing Director and Founder of GKV) decided to go on a relentless search to discover a remedy for his health crises. Finally, after many tryouts, he landed on coconut oil, which stabilized his condition astoundingly. That was when the passion for coconut was ignited. The MD was recently adjudged the National Best Agro-Processor during the 36th National Farmers Day celebration in November, 2020.

GKV Foods is an Agro-processing company (Operating in the Coconut Value Chain), with the mission to process the coconut fruit into innovative products that creates value for our stakeholders on a sustainable basis and our vision is to be a world-class agro-processing consumer group in the West African Sub-region.

GKV is a zero-waste, community based agro-processing business. We source our raw material from network of small-holder farmers is 8 districts of the Western and Central Regions of Ghana. The business also invests in the communities by providing ready market for these farmers, provide paid internship for students in the communities and support the farmers with extension services and as well as seedlings.
