Company Story

The Guerra family story is one of America's Land of Opportunities for Antonio Guerra and his sons Karl and Frank. Antonio came to America from Italy in the 1890s. He worked for the Pacific Northwest Railroad and eventually moved to San Jose, California.

In 1918, Antonio's teenage son Frank came to Hollister, California to visit relatives. In 1920 his parents, brother Karl, and two sisters followed. Upon arriving in Hollister, Antonio started farming and running a small winery. He remained engaged in farming until his death in 1941.
