In 1996, Fred and Donna Boots launched Indian Peak Vineyards as a side project in their Cottonwood, California, garden. Later, in 1998, they decided to transform their lucrative hobby into a business, and in 1999, they purchased property in Manton, California, bringing their dream to life.
Indian Peak Vineyards planted their first grapevines in 2000, and in 2004 they became Manton's first bonded winery. In 2006, they also began growing commercial crops.
Finally, the results of the family's labor reached the retail market, and as they say, "the rest is history."
In the small Californian foothill village of Manton, we have been farming extraordinary grapes and crafting award-winning wines for 13 years. Indian Peak Vineyards began constructing the first Bonded Winery fifteen years ago.
