Our business had its start in 1995 when the founder chose to found a firm and call it none other than Platan while strolling down a street lined with plane trees in the south of France. Regular visits in this direction led to the initial importation of olives for personal consumption and later other goods. This is how the concept of doing it professionally but in a wider sense emerged.

At that time, it was challenging to import foreign goods into our nation. A company that still exists today was founded out of a desire to bring Mediterranean cuisine to Poland. It supplies the biggest retail chains, retail outlets, and HoReCa.
