Company Story
The Green Scene, which was founded in 1997 as a provider of salad packs, herbs, and a variety of exotic baby veggies, quickly grew to become a supplier of the full spectrum of fresh produce. Their roots were still firmly planted in the market for locating difficult-to-find products while placing a premium on quality and customer service. They have a good working connection with the majority of the bigger hotels and eateries in Cape Town.
They still take great satisfaction in the fact that the foundation of their company has been long-lasting, close connections with their suppliers and clients. After the business's original start-up phase, when it was based on a farm in Philadelphia, it was quickly moved to Cape Town and has since been based in Maitland. The Green Scene has grown quickly and steadily as a result of a mix of very hard work and the expansion of Cape Town's hotel sector.
