Inspired by France’s Calvados in the 1970s, CEO Imseob Han, who comes from a long line of apple orchardists in Uiseong, envisioned creating fine wine from Korean apples. With this vision, he dedicated himself to developing apple wines that would showcase the full richness and aroma of locally grown Uiseong apples. After years of meticulous research and refinement, Applease Korea succeeded in creating distinctive apple wines and derivative liquors that reflect both tradition and innovation.
By using only Uiseong-grown apples, the company not only ensures premium quality, but also supports local farms and promotes regional sustainability. Applease Korea has earned its recognition not only in the domestic market but also overseas, achieving over USD 6 million in exports in the previous year.
