2007

Jeollanam-do gained nationwide recognition by certifying over 50% of its total area for eco-friendly agricultural products.

2012

The province successfully hosted the Yeosu Expo and established a center for cultivating beneficial microorganisms, supporting eco-friendly farming practices.

2017

Jeollanam-do had achieved the prestigious title of 'Best' for creating 'Sharing Forests' nationwide. This year also marked the opening of the 'Eco-friendly Agricultural Comprehensive Logistics Center' and the declaration of the nation's first 'Eco-friendly Agriculture Zone.'
