1.25 million MT of olive oil was forecast for 2021-2022 harvest in Spain

The initial forecast volume of 1.20 million MT of olive oil should be proved right once the harvest ends in February. According to the data published by the Spanish Food Information and Control Agency -"Agencia de Información y Control Alimentarios" (AICA)-1.25 million MT of olive oil will be produced during the 2021/22 harvest season. 70% of the total production has already been harvested by WK 2. Besides, the cumulated sales until WK 52 of 2021 reached more than 867,000 MT, an increase of 14.5% compared to the previous agricultural season.
