On March 14, 2023, the Shanghai Market Had a High Price and a Low Demand for Egyptian Oranges

On March 14, 2023, the first shipment of Egyptian oranges for the 2023 season (Lane Late variety) landed via sea in the Shanghai wholesale market. The selling price stood at USD 29.01/15kg (RMB 200/15kg). Due to the low demand and high sale price, the oranges were hard to sell.
