Two Indonesian Chicken Manufacturers Approved to Export to Singapore

As Singapore is giving the green light for importing whole chickens from Indonesia, only two major chicken manufacturers have are approved by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

The two companies that are approved have met the standard of SFA. Indonesia will have the opportunity to fulfill up to 35% of the chicken needs in Singapore. Forecasts indicate that Indonesian chicken suppliers will take over the market share previously owned by Malaysian suppliers that ceased imports in early 2022.

However, one of the approved companies will not start their chicken exports to Singapore yet since the domestic demand in Indonesia is currently high.
